The PPMA show now includes a focus on e-commerce packaging and aims to provide an overview of solutions addressing key challenges such as how to make packaging more sustainable while still remaining protective and economical.
Sitma’s pack-to-size solutions like E-wrap, FastPack and FastPack Plus produce customized and compact paper-based packages in full automation with high productivity. By sizing the package based on the product size, Sitma solutions reduce the material used and optimize vehicles’ loading capacity significantly, reducing emissions and cost.

Over the years Sitma has adapted its machines to support the growing development of paper-based packaging materials produced by industry leaders such as Billerud, Mondi and UPM. Sitma’s customers run thousands of meters of 100% recyclable kraft paper on a daily basis; this is the ideal solution to replace plastic packaging when shipping several product types, such as fashion, media and personal care.
